We offer you a unique replica of a training sword by Joachim Meyer. Our weapon with a total length of 121cm / blade 100cm and a weight of about 890g allows you to work with an identical weapon that our ancestors worked with in fencing schools around 1570.
The blade is not deliberately hardened to the values that set today's trends, but is hardened to approx 48-50 HRC. This makes it as close to the properties of the original blades as possible. The blade itself is engineered and the hardening values are sufficient to make the weapon flexible and safe enough to practice fencing techniques. Therefore, this weapon is intended only for persons who, want to go deeper into the art of fencing. This weapon is not suitable for use in tournaments. This weapon should be used for proper training, reconstruction and understanding of fencing techniques according to the master.
All weapons look the same, yet each is different. Each weapon is handmade from the grinding of the blades to the detailing on the handles. That's why you'll be holding a one-of-a-kind weapon that no one else can ever have!
