About me , Mac, truely named Stanislav Prošek
The date of my birth goes back to the Autum of 1979, but the true importatant year of my life was 1995,
when I started to be interested in history and historical fenching. It took me five years to became
involved in the feild in the way I had wished. For that , in spring 2000 I founded the historical
fenching club under the name of Trabantengarde, which implements ¨Liviny History¨.
Under this belongs the intention to use precise and functional replicas/ copies of the weponary,
Amoury, and costums. This implementation has been a hard journey but we have adaqte equipment for the
gothic, renesance and even for the thirty year war periods.I and a majority of members of
Trabantengarde are being educated in fencing under the head of the school of Europian
and Historical War technics/martial arts. In our performances we feature not only with stabbing and
cutting weapons but also with hitting and pole weapons. As a group we are famous in both the CR and
abroad.
But let us return back to the past to the year 1998 when my era as a Steel armourmaker began.
In this year I constructed my first steel armour clothing. At first it was more a hobby,
but as time went on I recieved my first contracts. I have worked professionally in the field of plate
clothing since 2001 in my Usti workshop. Among my clients are not only people indulged in historical
fencing, members of the Liviny History from CR and abroad, but also stores and gallaries which focus on
histortorical themes or are just history fans. My work can be found not only on historical collectors‘
walls but also on theatre stages.
